My name is Ros Pollock and I'm the founder of Bethlehem Baubles. I started this project whilst living in Jerusalem where I wanted to try and create a meaningful impact for the skilled local craftsman there, and to foster a better sense of cooperation between the local communities. To do this, I paired up with Suzan and Salam at Bethlehem Fair Trade Artisans (BFTA). This amazing non-profit NGO works closely with both Muslim and Christian communities in Palestine, empowering the most vulnerable producers in the area and supporting them to become active agents in their own livelihoods. Together with your help, Bethlehem Baubles is working to give skilled artisans access to the global market whilst developing their social rights and communities at home.
