Dave White Signed Limited Edition Art Wrapping Paper - Be Kind

Get your Christmas wrapped up in style and create a social-echo at the same time by snapping up some exclusive wrapping paper, designed by a collection of renowned artists.

Dave White is a contemporary British Artist who dedicates his work to celebrating popular culture and interpreting emotive issues. He pioneered the 'Sneaker Art' movement in 2002, with the execution of pop art inspired sneaker oil portraits, leading to long term collaborations with Nike and Brand Jordan which continue to this day. White is one of a handful of artists to have his own signature Jordan releases.

For this year's Limited Edition Art Wrapping Paper he's contributed this delicate and whimsical design “Be Kind” which is the first work from the Mice Collection launching with Hang Up Gallery in December 2022.

Conveying his inspiration behind this beautiful piece of art, White says..

“Being small and fragile, mice reflect the will to survive against all the odds. Their contentment is conveyed in their everyday lives, being grateful for the simplest of things that life itself offers. My aim is to celebrate this positivity, the joy of life, which we should all treasure. ‘Be Kind’ for Big Issue Shop’s Limited Edition Art Wrap project speaks for itself. It is my pleasure to support such an amazing project.”

This is one piece from a limited edition run of signed wrapping paper by artist Dave White.

Measures 70cm x 50cm.

Rolled for delivery.

Unsigned packs of this design are also available.

All the profit from this wrapping paper goes directly back to The Big Issue to give people living on the margins a hand up.

The Big Issue

The Big Issue's own-brand products support the creation of a range of work-based opportunities for disadvantaged people.
Big Issue has spent over 30 years at the helm of self-help revolution. It all began with the launch of The Big Issue magazine in 1991, which was created to offer homeless and disadvantaged people the opportunity to earn a legitimate income by selling a magazine on the streets. Since then over 200 million copies magazine have been sold by over 100,000 people. Vendors buy the magazine upfront for £1.75 and sell it on to the public for £4.00, and in doing so each runs their own micro-enterprise. In 2005 Big Issue Invest was launched, with the aim of extending The Big Issue's mission by financing the growth of social enterprises and charities across the UK. To date the organisation has directly invested in over 350 such organisations, and manages or advises on more than £170 million of social funds.
